Oven Stew

1 lbs stewing beef, cut up
1 large onion, cut up
1-2 potatoes, cut up
1-2 carrots, cut up
7 1/2 tomato sauce
1/2 cup beef broth or bullion
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Combine all together in casserole or roaster; cover. Bake in 300F oven for 3 1/2-4 hour until tender.
